I do thank you for all the help you have given me.
Again, I am getting closer, but not there yet.
First of all, I don't have a kernel in /lib/modules/$(uname -r)/build.
I did find one in the directory /usr
When I ran the command you gave to me (below) with that modification,
here is the output:
(note... I wasn't sure if "cs46xx" should have been replaced by the card
number; mine comes to 4610/11; I tried all possible versions: 4610,
4611, 4236, and 46xx and the results were all the same).
Why am I not finding my Ubuntu system files where you are telling me to
look for them? I did a straight install of my system.
