Did you use CDMA wireless PCMCIA card 5yrs back on Linux . ? (I am using it for last
3 yrs through COM1 on a PI m/c but not on Linux.)

Do you think that the complete ubuntu repo would have the support
for this PCMCIA card modem . . .

I had posted earlier this here and did not get any reply If you can help . . .

"Does anyone have experience with above modem;

I am unable to access the internet from this laptop as internal modem is not working the PCMCIA CDMA wireless card with me is not supported by Linux.
Linux detects the card when inserted but while configuring the modem it hangs or give the message that modem is in use.

Details of PCMCIA card is
800MHz CDMA 1X
Model: MC315
PCMCIA : TYPE-II
Wireless Modem

Further details are at

Thank you in advance
