Install Help?!

Hi all,
I am in the process of trying to install Ubuntu, so I found the most recent
version of GParted and partitioned my main drive (XP) off so I had roughly
50G of space for Ubuntu.

Now when I go to install it, it for some reason is trying to touch my main
XP drive... and I really want to get this set up so I can learn how to use
Ubuntu properly, instead of on the CD boot.

If anyone is able to help me, I would really appreciate it.
