didnt work for me. :( i still cannot get into one folder under my
share, it says i got no access whatsoever. and a prompt prompts me for
a password :p but it doesnt accept it whatsoever.
and i use kubuntu and konqueror
this is what my config file looks like :

[global]
workgroup = yoshisisland
netbios name = yoshisisland
write list = sinaen,louhi

[forrest of illusion]
comment = forrest of illusion
wide links = no
path = /yoshisisland/forrest_of_illusion

[vanilla dome]
security = share
comment = tvseries isos
valid users = louhi,sinaen
writeable = yes
path = /yoshisisland/vanilla_dome

[chocolate island]
path = /yoshisisland/chocolate_island
security = share
comment = music anime movies
#       public = yes

[yoshisisland]
#       comment = files
#       writable = yes
security = share
locking = no
path = /yoshisisland
public = yes

and my problem is that i dont have access to
/yoshisisland/vanilla_dome/torrents/
or. i cannot get in :D

And after reading the complete message, I have the same problem as Roy.

My gf computer runs windows xp something something. and it cannot see
or access my samba-shares at all.
But My Xbox can. :(
