Can only mount mp3 player once

Personaly i prefer the icon to appear on the Desktop (faster access for me).
I you like that also:
hit ALT+F2 and enter: gconf-editor
In the left pane go down the path:
/apps/nautilus/desktop/volumes_visible and make sure the box behind it
is ticked.

Anyhow if you the trick above or "places... computer" you should
right-click on the device then select "unmout" before unpluggin it (wait
untill the small window with the flashing bar disapears).
Never had problems with that.
Then try it again.

In the current state the "pmount" session is broken.
So have to logout and -in again or even reboot.
After that it should all work as decribed above.
