[Dapper] $PATH truncated - please confirm or deny :)

One of today's Dapper updates appears to have chopped my PATH down.
I discovered this on trying to run "Frozen Bubble" - /usr/games is no
longer in the path.

This is so on both my iBook and my desktop machine.

It looks like /etc/profile and/or /etc/bash.bashrc have been mutilated in
imaginative and original ways. I have no idea which package was
responsible for this - is anyone else seeing the same thing?

$ echo $PATH
/home/peter/bin:/bin:/usr/bin

dpkg -S /etc/profile
dpkg: /etc/profile not found.

 dpkg -S /etc/bash.bashrc
bash: /etc/bash.bashrc

Was there a change to the bash package?

i was kind of amused by this.. I've never seen it happen before - but it's
a bit serious really, seems to me.
