getting packages added to install cd

Hi list
Not sure if i should ask here or -devel, but I'm starting here.
I am hoping to get a package (smbfs) added to the ubuntu install cd. I 
have asked on irc and looked at a few wiki pages including this [1], but 
it only seems to answer the question of what happens to add a package to 
main, not onto the cd.
Any pointers?
