That's weird, it looks like apt is trying to connect to your computer to
download updates, instead of going to the proper web site.



Do you have any entries in your /etc/hosts file related to the web
sites apt is trying to connect to? If you've got entries in that file
saying something like "ubuntu.com localhost:4001" then that's telling
the system that ubuntu.com is hosted on your computer.





Other than that, check your DNS settings. What does /etc/resolv.conf
say?
