Kubuntu hangs after attching MA-620 IrDA

Dears

I hooked my USB MA-620 IrDA adapter and typed

irattach /dev/ttyUSB0 -d ma600 -s

After that my Kubuntu hanged. I pushed the restart button. The
computer hangs at "Starting Apache 1.3 web server.."

What should I do?
