Still my point is valid, but the naming change would be bigger:
Ubuntu (family) -> Ubuntu
Ubuntu (distro) -> Ubuntu Gnome Edition
Kubuntu -> Ubuntu KDE Edition
etc;
In fact, I like that scheme better... we would all be using Ubuntu; just
different editions.
