suspend/hibernate

I had hibernate (suspend-to-ram) to work by following the guide at
ubuntu wiki:

https://wiki.ubuntu.com/NvidiaLaptopBinaryDriverSuspend

Now when i chose in gnome to suspend it writes down to mem and
shutdowns. I have few problems though. After resuming the screen is
stuck at loading state. I have to restart GDM manually without screen
by CTRL+F1 and "/etc/init.d/gdm" stop and "/etc/init.d/gdm stop" and
then I have X. Console stays scrambled.

I think also that my network doesn't work either after resuming. Sound
volumes are all mute and they have to be set again.

I haven't tested it rather much, but i think hibernate script will help
that out.

Any ideas?
