Hundreds of "New Packages"?

2 Packages are by far less then "Hundreds".  ;)

Since i donĀ“t use the aptitude gui i am not familar with that "new
packages list".

But in my opinion this must have something to do with the "markauto,
unmarkauto" feature from aptitude.
