So I tried the netgear driver via ndiswrapper and when I do the
ndiswrapper -l, I get

Installed ndis drivers:

wg311v3 driver present, hardware present

which means the driver is installed and ready to use (I hope).

I do the usual iwlist, iwconfig stuff to locate my access point and
supply the necessary parameters for essid, channel, mode, key. It
accepts fine. When I use dhcp-client to connet, it spits out

Installed ndis drivers:Listening on LPF/wlan0/00:40:f4:f0:e1:bc

Sending on LPF/wlan0/00:40:f4:f0:e1:bc

Sending on Socket/fallback

DHCPDISCOVER on wlan0 to 255.255.255.255 port 67 interval 3

No DHCPOFFERS received.

No working leases in persistent database - sleeping.

I am going to try other drivers that are compatible with the Marvell
chipset, but if there is a blunder I am doing here, may be some one can
point out and I stop doing the same mistake over and over.

Thanks a bunch.

R.
