# dpkg --purge libc6-i686
Now try again. Afterwards, reinstall libc6-i686
I won't guarantee it, but I suspect it's related to the problem I see every
time libc6 gets updated. You don't actually need -i686, it's just more
efficient than the base libc6 package, so removing it won't hurt.
