Hello,

Is anyone here involved in "EasyUbuntu"? I tried it a month ago and it
worked, but the current version doesn't even run. And there are still on
instructions for makin git run. Look:

<quote>
~ $ sudo python easyubuntu.py

Traceback (most recent call last):
   File "easyubuntu.py", line 15, in ?
     gtkfrontend.launcher(datadir, confdir)
   File "/home/oem/EasyUbuntu_2006-05-12/gtkfrontend.py", line 115, in
launcher
     pkglist = minidom.parse(os.path.join(datadir, 'packagelist-%s.xml' %
codename()))
   File "/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/_xmlplus/dom/minidom.py", line
1915, in parse
     return expatbuilder.parse(file)
   File "/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/_xmlplus/dom/expatbuilder.py",
line 924, in parse
     fp = open(file, 'rb')
IOError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory:
'/home/oem/EasyUbuntu_2006-05-12/packagelist-breezy.xml'
</quote>

Does anyone know where 'packagelist-breezy.xml' went? Last time I tried
EasyUbuntu this file wasn't needed.

It's frustrating that software would break like this from one version to
the next. I was hoping to give someone an Ubuntu computer because
EasyUbuntu could add the extra bits that were needed...

Daniel.
