Netgear WG111T

I have connected a netgear WG111T USB WiFi device to my laptop which
is running Ubuntu 5.10 with kernel 2.6.12-10-386. The system
recognizes the device, that is to say that is shows up in
System->Administration->Device Manager as WG111T under my USB 1.1
Controller->ALi Corporation USB 1.1 Controller along with my mouse.
But is shows Vendor, Device, Device Type and Capabilities as
'Unknown'. Which seems strange, at least the Vendor does, as it
recognized it as a WG111T.

Is there some easy apt-get route to obtain any necessary kernel
modules or drivers? Or even going the make from source route is OK,
but I don't know what I am missing or looking for.
