TVtime : why does it eat my CPU ?? :-(

Hmmm... I heard that many times indeed, but at least in my case, XawTV
gives a noticeably neater and sharper picture than TVtime. I tried every
possible video processing options in TVtime, but none of them gave the
same picture quality as XawTV. In some cases, it even rendered the image
unstable :-/

Maybe experiences vary depending on the combination of particular TV
card and TV standard, but in my case, in France mainland with a
"Pinnacle PC TV" bt878 card, XawTV is definitely better out of the box,
despite the lack of any video processing options.

I like tvtime so far but picture quality was definitely not the selling
point...
