Ubuntu 5.10 "live" CD's dont work

Thanks for the links. However the first link doesn't mention anything
about hotplug subsystem boot options (unless I'm missing something
obvious and the error message is a red herring) and the second only
resolves the issue should I be installing 5.10...

Any links for the kernel panic when using the '64 bit version??

At this point in time, I'm only interested in trying out the 'live'
versions (really its to make sure all hardware work ok), then I'll go
for the install...

Any further assistance appreciated...
