DAPPER: Spellcheck in multiple languages

Ehrm... "I'm trying to get *evolution*..." :) So the app is Evolution,
the Gnome mail app.

The problem is that I get either English spell check or Finnish,
depending which locale I have selected (from gdm, "select language" or
smth like that). But not both at the same time. Pardon me, I do want to
go more haywire with this. If I choose to use Gnome in English I get
working spell check in English, but not Finnish. If I choose to use
Gnome in Finnish I get Finnish spell check, but not English.

And I don't want to use Gnome in Finnish. I do have all the necessary
language-packs installed. And to note, this has worked earlier with
Dapper, but now for some reason it doesn't work anymore.
