I`m getting annoyed too... I have installe linux system since years, and now i want to install ubuntu, and specifiy in the xorg.conf only 1024x768 dfor my 15" Samsung LCD, but I cann only choose 640x480 and 800x600 in the Resoltuion menu ???? Which Conf File is used ??? I have done nearly everything now .... :mad: -- mb2k
