printer not working

I bought a Lexmark c510 n printer to work with. Now is the printer 
working in a network with Win and Linux machine. With Win there are no 
problems but with linux there is one. It will only work with 
foomatic-gui to print a testpage and not with lp or cups.

What did I do wrong?
I don't know if I send the complete information right now, if I didn't 
ask for information.
