You can classify users as smart or not based on if they check
if their hardware is supported. Average person who's modem
goes out and walks into Walmart to purchase one isnt looking
for a Windows compatibility rating. They just expect it to work.
They think its like any part. Its a pc part and I have a pc so it
should work. And even after years of having their computer,
the only think many care about is if it does what they want it
to do.
