missing synce-matchmaker

Good morning/afternoon/night (depending on your timezone :),

I would like to ask if someone here is using the synce project
to sync your PDA.

The problem is that no package seems to provide the synce-matchmaker
program and when I try to compile it from the source code it complains
about missing gnome-vfs (but all the libgnome-vfs* packages are
installed).

I tried to Google for it but no success.

All other synce-* (serial-start etc.) packages are there.

So, what is the magic in Ubuntu to find this synce-matchmaker program?
