Dist-upgrade from flight-6: Wow!!!

I had been running flight 5 and 6 for a while until I noticed there were
like 300+MB worth of updates available. I didn't expect much in the way
of updates as Flight-6 is so recent... Anyway I decided to do a
dist-upgrade overnight anyway, just in case.

Wow!! There's new icons for everything in the menus and Gnome apps. :)
They're really pretty, perhaps a tad too 'shiny/cartoony' by Ubuntu
standards (but not any other distro's standards :) but overall they're
beautiful!!!

Then the 3D screensaver stuff doesn't flicker anymore. :) I noticed this
previously on all my computers, the 3D screensavers used to 'flicker',
but now they work perfectly.

I also noticed other improvements, such as when you switch the whole
environment to Thai language, the little tone & vowel markers never drop
off anymore. (Changed font and slightly increased panel size)

Other things are not yet fixed, such as the little dots on buttons you
get sometimes, for example in Firefox.

Also a question... In Grub on bootup I now have TWO Ubuntu boots to
choose from:

title Ubuntu, kernel 2.6.15-21-386

and, a slightly older one:

title Ubuntu, kernel 2.6.15-19-386

So I guess it didn't replace the old one but just added an option for
the newer kernel??? Question: How to I remove the old kernel? (Not
just the grub option of course, I can edit that one out just fine, but
how to I uninstall the older kernel and can I do so safely?)

Cheers,
Chanchao
