Well, turns out it is not as hard as it seems, assuming you already have a BBO
account. AFAIK you have to:

- install wine (apt-get install wine)
- install mozcontrol somewhere where WINE can find it (see [1])
- surf to the BBO site, download the tool and simply install it in c:\
- cd to ~/.wine/drive_c/Bridge Base Online and edit bbover .ini. You want
  "LINUX_WINE=Y" in there
- that should be it, just fire up bbo.

When you start bbo, you want to also open an xterm and keep an eye on the
output of "vmstat 1". In particular, keep an eye on the "free" column...
