Ubuntu Dapper and WebMin

I just finished installing Webmin, and it is running w/o problems (as is
Dapper!!). Here are the steps I used:

webmin in 5.10 Breezy Badger used the following directories:

/etc/webmin/

/etc/init.d/webmin/

/etc/pam.d/webmin/

/usr/share/webmin-1.260/

download the latest tar.gz webmin from

http://www.webmin.com/index.html

delete the old webmin directory

sudo rmdir /etc/webmin

cd to wherever you saved the downloaded version

sudo tar zxvf webmin-1.270.tar.gz -C /usr/share/

sudo chown -R root:root /usr/share/webmin-1.270/

cd /usr/share/webmin-1.270

sudo ./setup.sh /etc/webmin

and answer the questions:

* The Webmin configuration directory

The directory in which all Webmin configuration information is
stored.

This is now separate from the Webmin install directory, so
that

configurations are saved when you upgrade.

/etc/webmin/

* The Webmin log directory

/var/log/webmin

* The full path to perl on your system

This is usually /usr/bin/perl or /usr/local/bin/perl

* Web server port

The TCP port that the Webmin web server will listen on.

default 10000

* Web server login and password

* Web server hostname

* Use SSL

* Start Webmin at boot time

Hope it helps.
