How do I find Russian programs?

Hi,
I live in Kyrgyzstan (in former Soviet Union).  I have a Edubuntu 5.10
DVD download which has Russian available for the base language and Open
Office but I can't find much more. I'm not a techie and so look to
Edubuntu as an end-user friendly source that could be encouraged here in
schools and elsewhere. Probably I just don't know where and how to look.
Especially important would be a typing tutor and OO tutorials. Where
should I look?
