Yes, completely.



It did require some trust and... blind faith actually, as not
everything worked out-of-the-box (eg. the TV tuner) and many things had
had to be learnt from scratch...



The whole experience resembled ascending stairs you weren't sure were
all there yet. Will I climb up or brake my neck?



Fortunately, there was a great deal of support from the wonderful
people within the Ubuntu community who made all the difference.
