Hauppauge PVR-150 with Ubuntu Dapper?

Ubuntu Users,

In order to install my PVR-150 video card on my system, I dutifuly
followed the instructions on this web page:
http://ivtvdriver.org/index.php/Howto:Ubuntu

Some key differences to not are that the instructions are for the
Breezy release, and I'm on Dapper. However, I couldn't find any
resources that spelled out what the differences would be, so I thought I
would go for it.

The one thing that might have been an issue was in some place, it
said to copy some files over to a /usr/lib/hotplug/firmware/ directory,
which didn't exist. So I just made the directory and put whatever was
required in there.

Everything went okay, until the very last part, where it says to run
dmesg, and check the output. Specifically, the instructions say: "If, at
the end of the output of dmesg (or /var/log/syslog), you see a section
starting with ==START INIT IVTV== and ending with ==END INIT IVTV==, you
are in good shape, as long as the text in between these markers is not
filled with errors."

Unfortunately, I do see errors. But it doesn't really say what to do
about them or how.

The errors seem to be that I didn't load some files into the
firmware directory. But I specifically made a firmware directory, so
what's up with that?

Any advice would be much appreciated.
