Easy Ubuntu

I took a look at the Easy Ubuntu site.  It looks like it handles many of
the problems I have taken care of manually, and some others.  If I install
it on my system after some of these packages have already been updated can
I expect it to detect these changes and handle them gracefully or is it
really only suited to a new Ubuntu install?
