Why so many floppy drives (was: Dapper Flight 5 issues)

Hi Everybody,

It seems that the earlier thread I started took a different
turn. So I am starting this new thread.

Evince seems to be working fine on some other systems
where I installed it recently. So, the evince crashing issue
I mentioned in the earlier thread must be something to do
with my installation.

However, nautilus (Computer://) is showing several floppy
drives when I have just one. Why is that? This has
happened in all the three systems where I installed dapper.
