Could be, they have a secured wireless and an unsecured wireless. Of course to get on the unsecured wireless you need to be an executive and have no real technical reason for it.
 
 I'll try another port monday morning and see what happens.

Many companies block port 22 on their firewalls. Ours does. Might be
yours does it only on the wireless network. Maybe your IT can help, or
you might rather want to run sshd on another port without much fuss.
Beware of company policies.
