dapper: replacement for tpb?

Actually, GNOME does display a nice popup bar when I press the volume
keys. I suppose I can live without the other notifications.
Please note that I only check linux-utf8 on Tuesdays when they happen
on a tenth of December, so please CC me with any replies.
