Creating PDF with gnome-cups-manager doesn't work

Gerhard,

Install cups-pdf (sudo apt-get install cups-pdf)
Edit /etc/cups/cupsd.conf
to change the line:
RunAsUser Yes
to
RunAsUser No

Restart cups: $sudo /etc/init.d/cupsys restart

Add a new Local Printer, of type "Generic PRinter" with the driver
that you mentioned, and it will work now. I figured this earlier
today. Strange coincidence I find this mail now, too :)
