Introduction & Question: 32 vs. 64 Bit - what to use ?

Dear all,

i am new to linux and this group here. I subscribed because one of my  private
goals for this year is to learn linux :-)

My day to day work is to support and maintain 2 datacenters full of
windows machines
(monitored with nagios & cacti - running on Debian Sarge).

I bought a new motherboard & 64 BIT CPU to install ubuntu and i wonder
if it has any
disadvantages if i will install the 64 Bit Version.

I will use this pc mainly for mail, web, listening to mp3's but will
as well install
apache2 & MySql + Mediawiki used as my knowledge base.
