Amule and Dapper latest

It seems I was declaring success a little too early :-( Today, when
using aMule, the whole system became unresponsive. When I moved the
mouse, it took ten seconds for the cursor to move. Lower panel jumped
up, menus didn't respond at all, the hard disk was constantly
chattering. I could shut down the machine only from the command line
(Ctrl + Alt + F1) (ofcourse the shutdown button propably would have
worked too :-)

I'll try to find out if this is related to some other program running at
the same time with aMule, or something specific I do with it.
