Remote Desktop : Connecting to a WinXP machine ?

BTW, is there anything my WinXP friend should do in order to let
me/Ubuntu connect to his machine, or is Win XP configured by default to
accept request from remote machine ? If not, where in Windows are the
options to configure this ?

All I can see in WinXP so far, is
Start->Programs->Accessories->Communication->Connect to a Remote
Desktop, but I can't see a GUI similar to what we have in Gnome in
System-Preferences->Remote Desktop.

I googled a bit and it seems Windows requires the RDPv5 protocol, so I
will use that, so that's one less thing to figure out.
