subeclipse checkout not working.

Hello, this may not be the right place to ask, but here goes;
I've been using subversion for a while now, but only with windows clients. 
Now I've installed ubuntu and need it to work here. the repository are the 
same; https://svn.ostebit.com/finans but now I get a error when I try to add 
the repository:     
svn: PROPFIND request failed on '/finans'
svn: SSLv3

I've tried the console client and a kde client who worked great, so it has to 
be a eclipse problem? I've been playing around on the server and have found 
out that if I disable ssl then it works whit eclipse.
