Cron, anacron or atd??

They do similar jobs, but not identical.  atd is for one-shot jobs 
scheduled with at(1), cron is for repeated jobs scheduled at specific 
times, and anacron is for repeated jobs scheduled with rough intervals 
(e.g. once a day).
