Tomboy's scalability

I agree, I have found Tomboy to be great-- I have been using it for a
while and not run into any scale-ability problems.

I'm not sure if you are worrying about scaleability from a UI
perspective, or if you are worrying about the issue of having 10,000
notes... I can only vouch for my experiences regarding the former, since
I have only a hundred or so notes...

I find that if the note is important I will make sure that there is a
link trail back to the 'Start Here' note... but nearly always find the
note I want by going straight to 'Search notes...' anyway (making my
several 'link common subjects together' notes pages that I have are
nearly redundant).

I sometimes worry is that I might one day have a lot of 'orphaned'
notes, that are not linked to any other notes and that are
insufficiently important for me ever to search for.  But then I stop
worrying about it...
