It's a link to totem-video-thumbnailer which nautilus automatically 
uses to generate thumbnails of video clips (according to the man 
page). I think you'll have to do a 'ps axf' when this happens next 
and track down exactly what it's doing, chances are totem is getting 
stuck on a huge/faulty video file
