dapper drake: gnopernicus and notepad

Upgraded to the beta of dapper drake today.
Trying notepad with the gnopernicus screen reader, but gnotepad doesn't release the numberpad to gnopernicus, so one cannot control the screen reader.  Anyone else testing gnopernicus?
