Installing the Adblock Firefox extension on Dapper

In theory, it should never be necessary to install an extension as
root, but in practice sometimes the permissions have to be tweaked, as
was the case with installing additional search engines in v1.0. In any
case, what exactly was the problem/error? Did you exit and restart FF?
