error installing vmware-player

what exactly did you do to enable the multiverse/universe repository? 
i'm having the same problem where i have the 2.6.25 kernel installed,
but the 2.6.15 modules for vmware installed.  it isn't finding the
latest version of the kernel modules, and i'm not sure how to make
adept find them
