Well, and therefore all other subscribers have to suffer uninformative
subject lines like, "[ubuntu-users]: Please help with w ..."? :)

As another poster answered in this thread, create a filter on the list
which then rewrites the subject and dumps everything into a single
folder. (Dunno if Thunderbird can do this)
