Synaptic is trying to update to a lower version

I have gpg (GnuPG) 1.4.3 installed, but Synaptic is trying to "update"
to a "new" ver. of gnupg 1.4.2.2

I have installed gnupg 1.4.3 manually.

In Synaptic Preferences--> Distribution I have Allways prefer the highest
version, checked.

How can I fix this?
