Printer Problems

When you hit the print key? Do you mean when you try to print from a
program? What program are you trying to print from?

Try printing a test page. I am not in my Ubuntu box right now, but I
think that if you go to System -> Administration -> Printers you can
select your printer and right click for Properties. You should see a
button to print a test page.
