Canna to Kanji, how to do it?

Hello All,

Currently I'm trying to learn some japanesse language and alphabet. When I see 
on windows, there are some input method to automagically switch katakana to 
kanji based by the text input. I've already installed SCIM and the Canna and 
Hiragana successfully installed and used. But I still can't get kanji. 

Is there any tips or trick??
