Dapper, Canon and Turboprint

If I may, I've a diiferent kind of issue but relates to this thread's
title.



I've been using a reg'd turboprint for a few months now with now
problems. However just this day my printouts now contains the
turboprint banner which indicates it;s reverted to the freeedition.
However there was nothing done to the system at all to cause it, and in
fact in the Info/ register page the registration data is still intact.



Any ideas why this happened? The most drastic thing I did so far on
this system is the addition of samba for a simple home network. Could
this have be the cause? How can this be fixed?
