Xorg memory leak

I also noticed a huge memory leak in dapper -- X was using about 500MB
after only a few hours of uptime.
xrestop showed that 'top-panel' and 'bottom-panel' were eating all that
memory,
and gnome-system-monitor showed that it is 'gnome-panel' that eats the
memory. I was able to 'killall gnome-panel' to restore that lost
memory..
But anyway, I found out that changing the theme corrected the
situation. After choosing some simple theme (I chose IndustrialTango)
gnome-panel uses about 15MB of memory, and bottom-panel uses only
781KB, and both seem to stay stable at that values after a whole day of
uptime.
Before that, I was using a custom theme, and seems like X is unable to
free cached pixmaps from certain themes.. or something..
